Amber P. holds a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies, with concentrations in Theatre, Dance and Human Services from Fitchburg State College. While at Fitchburg State she achieved many accolades including becoming the regional winner in the National American College Theatre Festival’s Irene Ryan Award. This gave her the opportunity to perform at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC in 2002.
That same year she was awarded the Fitchburg State College Leadership in the Arts Award.

Her producing credits include a shared choreographer’s concert at the Dance Complex in Cambridge, MA. Producer/Creator of the Phoenix Festival, a theatre arts festival for families in Summer 2004, performed in various locations in the Greater Boston area.

She has also written, produced and performed 3 one woman shows that she has toured with through Massachusetts. Her fourth show titled "Genesis of Honey: from survivor to siren" will be coming out in 2009.

Hey! All you wicked cool kids. Let’s break it down this way; I am the funky fresh Amber P. You can call me Amber, Amber P., call me anything but late for dinner.

I was born and raised in Boston to Caribbean parents. So after we Park our cars in Harvard Yard (pronounced Pa-k ah ka's in havid Yaaad) we get out and eat curry goat.

I have an older brother that I credit for many emotional and physical scarring (i.e. the one across my chin from cops and robbers, guess who had to be the robber).

In college I majored in the dining hall and a hot theatre guy, I got an A+ and D- respectively.

 After graduating I used my degree to wipe up spills better than the leading brand of paper towel, traveling, courting my muse, learning, teaching and generally living a Bon Vivant post graduate life in mom’s basement.
